8.1.2022 : Update - New model of ‘switch lock’ and ‘mini’ for Tile Sticker 2022. Version 2022 has a different shape and size, as well as the button on the side, so I adapted it. Note that to access the button on the switch lock version you’ll need something small enough (ie pen) to press it through the keychain holder. These printed best in PLA at 0.2 or 0.15mm, PETG was OK too The ‘Tile Sticker’ is a great tracking tag for all kind of things, it only lacks a key chain ring in case the sticker is unpractical. For those who don’t want to spend the extra money for a ‘Tile Pro’, I’ve designed this set of three ‘TilK’ key chain holders for ‘Tile Sticker’, depending on your needs. Main Features :NB :These are exclusively made for ‘Tile Sticker’ • TilK (standard) – Compact switch lock model, easy to put on and take off, for maximum reusability; just twist them together and you are ready to go; once clipped on and a keyring added it won’t unlock. • TilK mini – More compact model that makes use of the sticker of the tag, it is hollow so as the Tile fits perfectly in it, up to half its thickness; it will rely on the ‘stickiness’ of the ‘Tile Sticker’ . A hole has been added in case the battery is empty and you want to reuse TilK, push it out with a thin device like screwdriver or other, but always be careful when doing so. • TilK basic – An even more compact, and very basic model in case you wish it for specific needs. Also contains a hole like the mini For the standard ‘switch lock’ model I have gone through extensive testing (PLA, PETG, ABS) and several resolutions to make sure it locks fine; results may vary depending on your printer, but in case it’s too tight I’ve added a ‘Lose’ version of the ‘male’ part, which I typically printed in ABS, as this material is prone to retraction/dilation.
