Tile/Plate Stand/Display

I created a beautiful marble tile featuring the Gettysburg Address in bold lettering. To showcase my artwork, I designed a sleek stand using an iPad holder from Home Depot. First, I imported the DXF file into Visio, then transformed it into usable objects. By shrinking the design, I perfectly aligned the slots to fit the 1/4-inch thick acrylic sheet and exactly match the width of my tile (0.34 inches). I cleverly added a silhouetted image of Abraham Lincoln on one side, which remains hidden when the tile is displayed. Notably, Visio proved tricky for universal cutting due to raster rather than vector lines; fortunately, switching to Epilog's cutter resolved this issue. When faced with slight cuts out of range, I utilized my Epilog printer for quick and easy precision by performing a 0.1-inch cut to free the piece.
