TiLDA mk4 Case (EMF 2018 badge)
thingiverse
A 3D printable badge for the TiLDA mk4 badge from EMF 2018. Please use supports from buildplate for the bottom half and no supports for the top half, printing with large flat surfaces on the build plate. The bottom half has built-in supports for battery retention clips; remove these once printed and gently heat the top of the clips to provide a better grip on the battery. A diffuser can be glued into place over the Dotstar LEDs on the front cover. A simple diffuser was made by sticking tracing paper to transparent packing plastic, cutting it to size. The navigation stick uses the nubbin from the laser cut plywood cover bought at EMF. Assembly should be straightforward, with photos of test prints illustrating key points. Labels were printed on sticky backed transparent sheets using a laser printer and cut out following built-in guidelines before being stuck onto the case where relevant. It's best to print a full sheet at once to minimize wastage.
