I created this practice sculpt using 3D modeling software to refine my skills. It was an enjoyable project, leading me to experiment with multiple variations of the design. The finished model underwent post-processing by printing it in clear PLA filament available in our 3D printer, followed by application of rust-resistant red primer and a coat of durable black acrylic paint. For users interested in crafting a hollow version, I offer these specific guidelines: to ensure that the interior space is adequately evacuated for printing, choose an infill percentage of zero alongside the elimination of top layers in your 3D modeling software settings. During a recent episode of our podcast '3D Printing Today', accessible via various platforms such as iTunes or Stitcher radio, we covered this topic amongst several other topics related to three-dimensional printing. UPDATE: Subsequently uploading the revised hollow model allows you to apply different levels of infill and layer configurations, catering to diverse user requirements.
