Tighter Maslow Z-axis Vacuum Base

Tighter Maslow Z-axis Vacuum Base

thingiverse

This is a compact iteration of the Maslow Z-axis Vacuum Base previously shared. Its opening has a diameter of 3.6 inches, accommodating the Rigid 2202. The earlier design's 4-inch opening would leak chips on one side, but this version functions seamlessly without sawdust buildup in the cutting area. It maintains the same height as before, with the 1.5 inch vacuum nozzle featuring a subtle taper to fit its slightly tapered counterpart. Additionally, I'm posting an alternative version with a larger exit hole within the base while retaining the same-sized vacuum connection. To complete this setup, you'll still need to heat, bend, and cut a small piece of Plexiglas for the view port.
