Tigela romana - Roman bowl

Common ware bowl with excessive over-firing, produced in the Roman pottery workshop at Quinta do Rouxinol (Seixal) for table use during the late 2nd century and 3rd century. The remaining piece corresponds to roughly half of the original object. Features a rim turned inward, vertical walls with low and subtle carination, and an externally polished surface.
