Purge plug for back purging Tig Welding tube. The exterior diameter will accommodate a maximum tube size of 2.5" ID down to 1 7/8" ID. The interior is tapered to fit snugly around smaller tubes, with an outside diameter ranging from 1.5" to 1.25". This design works effectively and stays securely in place after a few gentle taps. However, it's essential to maintain control over tube temperature near the ends to ensure optimal performance. To suit individual needs, simply resize the plug accordingly. When printing, I use a wall line count of at least four, which allows for flexibility when drilling the center hole to various sizes and prevents excessive strain on the outside of the plug.
