TIE Interceptor

TIE Interceptor

thingiverse

Our replica of a TIE Interceptor from Star Wars starts with designing the sphere that represents the ship's body. To achieve this shape, cylinders are attached on both sides. Two wings make up these attachments, each consisting of four distinct parts - two triangular planes, one square plane, and one cube connecting them to the cylinders. To start crafting this masterpiece, first focus on creating a simple plane shape. Begin by adjusting the bottom right corner to keep it aligned with a straight line. Move the left corner slightly to the left in order to maintain alignment with the new bottom right corner position. Next, carefully adjust the top right corner by moving it to the left on its axis. As you finish this process, one of the parts should closely resemble a piece of the Tie Interceptor's wing - far-right corner outstretched, the left corner subtly displaced, and the upper section smaller than when starting with an initial plane.
