This design allows you to hold 4 pairs of key rings. The part is exactly 1.48 cubic inches and it's just over 3 inches long, almost 1/2 an inch wide, and over 4 inches tall. The surface area is 17.54 square inches. This Tie Fighter design from Star Wars has two holes in it for screws. The part was designed to use very little plastic so it could be printed without much cost. I Designed This This part is one of three parts I've made as a part of my engineering challenge. I'm currently enrolled in an engineering class at my High School, and this challenge was class-wide. The challenge was to create 3 organizers with a specific theme that took no more than 2 cubic inches of plastic. Since Star Wars VII came out recently, I chose the Star Wars theme. The other parts I made as part of the challenge were the Star Wars Pencil Holder, Tie Fighter Key Hook, and AT-AT Cord Organizer. Please check out my profile to see all the parts I've made. Custom Section Version 1.0 This was my first design of the Tie Fighter Key Hook. Picture of Version 1.0 Tie Fighter Key Hook Version 1.1 For version 1.1, I added fillets on the key hooks to increase their strength and lessen the chance of them breaking.
