Tie Fighter Heavy Gunner

I resized the model to half dimensions in order to be on the similar scale of my previous Star Wars model X-Wing, you can check it out on this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4793112 I also included the cockpit glass, printed on transparent PLA and got a really nice improvement on the realism. The major modifications were done on the wings panels where I split them into several components in order to print them in separate parts and take advantage of the Prusa MMU 2.0. The wing parts after printed, snap fit perfectly and only it was need a bit of glue to keep them together, but they fit together almost like LEGO parts. Filament used: PLA (Grey, black and transparent) Layer height: 0.15mm and 0.20mm Tips: Used the 0.15mm layer height for the wing sails in order to make the grey fins on top the black sail base. I used the MMU to make the color transition, but is also possible to do without it with the stop command to change filament if you don’t have a MMU. Also for the sails frames I used the 0.15mm so I could get as much details as possible. The cockpit glass and frame were printed face down in order to get a better printing finish and used support auto-generated from the build plate. Also used here the 0.15mm layer height. All the other parts were printed on 0.20mm. Hope you like it!
