The Tie-Copter project marks my second endeavor in creating a 3D printed tricopter. Frustrated by lengthy print times for large, intricate parts on my previous copter, I sought an easily repairable model. This lightweight aircraft is uniquely secured using zip ties; the only glue required is for attaching the servo. Impressively, all components can be rapidly printed. The tricopter's body accepts various 1/2 in square dowel booms, offering customization options.
