Tide Lord armor was designed to excel in aquatic and zero atmospheric environments. While other suits of armor utilize smaller vents to expel heat generated by the power source, Tide Lord armor utilizes one massive turbine that can be utilized by the wearer to provide a boost of speed in low gravity environments. In normal environs however it acts as an extremely efficient heat sink. The strength offered to the wearer allows them to wield massive weapons, from massive anchors to power sheathed drills, with relative ease. Before the Betrayal, there was seldom anything that could withstand a Tide Lord assault. Unfortunately for their enemies, the time spent trapped at the bottom of the sea has only made them even stronger. Corals and sea creatures have infested the once flawless Tide Lord armor enhancing offensive and defensive qualities of the armor tenfold. Guardians of the Dread Admiral himself, the ranks of the Kraken Guard are made up of former Dread Captains who once served as members of the Kraken Court. Individuals who wish to join their ranks must forsake all titles and ships and live a life of obscurity in service to their master. Clad in an even more ancient version of Tide Lord armor, Kraken Guard are protected not only by their army but also an unseen energy field which can turn away even the strongest of blows. In emulation of their master, Kraken Guard's wield massive Tridents that they use with deadly force. Should an opponent survive the onslaught brought on from their deadly weapons the tridents themselves have explosive charges hidden in the weapons head. When ignited by the wield, the central tip of the trident will protrude with incredible speed forward, acting as a harpoon to provide the Kraken Guard with an additional weapon that can be used at a distance. As the honor guard of their master, all members of the Kraken Guard carry with them a deep shame rooted in failing to protect their master during the Great Betrayal. As such, they fight with a silent fury to avenge their tarnished honor and nothing short of death can stop them. Rather sizable kit to compliment the growing collection of my Tide Haunters.
