I really like dTom's charger design, but I thought it would be better if it were positioned a bit lower down, so I made some adjustments and created a slight remix by cutting 1 centimeter out of the post. The charger cutout fits perfectly - firmly in place and snugly secured, yet still easy to remove. Even the cord channel is tight enough to hold the factory cable through a tight corner without needing a zip tie. Since I decided to print in ABS, I was concerned about the supports messing up the base, so I printed sideways on the post, with only one support going across behind where the charger sits - it worked pretty well, except my slicer and I both forgot to add some support for the front left round edge (or square it off), so that got a bit mangled. I made an update with v2: Making the charger shorter took up less space for the watch band to curl back. The TWP's band is happy to go straight back, but the lip on the stand caused it to get gently bent at the bottom. My v2 is just a few mm taller and includes a cutout at the bottom which lets the band head straight back and also makes it easier to pull the charger out - for example when I'm taking it on the road. I also plugged up the zip tie holes (dTom's design fit perfectly without them) and tweaked things to print sideways with minimal support. My worry now is that this design may not be strong enough, as my cutout combined with the sideways print might make it weak against horizontal tension from the charger - so far though, everything seems okay.
