These highly detailed models represent the Ticonderoga Class Cruiser, also known as the Aegis cruiser due to its advanced weapons control system. Originally a modification of the Spruance Class, these ships were later reclassified as Guided Missile Cruisers. Constructed between the 1970s and early 1990s, 28 vessels were built, with second and third variations featuring upgraded electronics and missile launch systems.
