This intricately detailed model resembles the Ticonderoga Class Cruiser, also known as the Aegis cruiser due to its pioneering weapons control system. Originally a modified Spruance Class, it was later reclassified as a Guided Missile Cruiser with the integration of Aegis. With 28 built between the 1970s and early 1990s, there were two variants: one with upgraded electronics and redone superstructure (CG49-CG58); another featuring enhanced VLS Vertical Launch systems (CG59-CG73).
