This detailed model replicates the Ticonderoga Class Cruiser, also known as the Aegis cruiser due to its advanced weapons control system. Originally conceived as a modified Spruance Class, it was later reclassified as a Guided Missile Cruiser. Constructed from the 1970s to early 1990s, there were 28 vessels built in total. The second variant featured upgraded electronics and a revised superstructure (CG49-CG58). The third variation introduced Vertical Launch System (VLS) missile launchers (CG59-CG73), now part of the Navy's surface fleet striking force.
