Ticket To Ride Tray for Small Printer
thingiverse
My Printrbot boasts a modest build volume -- a compact bed measuring just 100mm by 100mm by 100mm, which meant I had to rethink my approach to printing the original tray. Rather than producing a single five-column tray, I broke the design down into two distinct pieces - one featuring three columns and the other sporting two. This innovative strategy allows for a seamless printing process that wasn't previously possible on my bed. When cutting out the original piece using Netfabb Basic, I encountered a hurdle: this free version doesn't enable part merging without an upgrade to its paid Professional edition. As a workaround, I strategically placed the STL file of the right-hand section alongside the 2- or 3-column segment, cleverly positioning them side by side on my print bed for a unified output. If anyone is eager to join these two printed sections together for me, their assistance would be greatly appreciated!
