Simple tick removal tools effectively extract ticks from skin. Place the tool over the tick's mouth and pull with consistent pressure. The remover's end can be squeezed to help grasp the tick's mouth parts for complete removal, eliminating the possibility of embedded parts in the skin. This reduces the risk of contracting tick-borne diseases. 8-1-17: minor design enhancements were made to increase versatility. 5-6-18: the straight tool was modified to include built-in tweezers that allow for squeezing the tick's mouth parts during removal, streamlining the process. 6-1-18: further refinements in the tools' designs were implemented to make them easier to use on a wider range of tick sizes. 10-5-19: adjustments were made to remove excess plastic from the O-shaped design when printing the word "out", minimizing filament waste.
