Sometimes with all the complicated gadgets and technologies that often run out of battery, a simple game of tic-tac-toe can be incredibly stress-relieving, enjoyable, and almost always leads to new interactions between visitors. A fun game designed to help one plan ahead and think critically will likely be used in our library's teen space. All designs were created in-house at the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District: The Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District is a community hub for knowledge advancement, providing innovative cultural enrichment for all ages. We banded together with ideas and possible entries for this competition, inspired by our makerspace and remodeled youth department. Many of these designs were influenced by our makerspace and the vibrant culture it embodies. The Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District is a community-driven institution that provides access to knowledge and innovative cultural experiences for all ages. The Studio was made possible by a generous gift from the Staffileno Family, who wanted us to create a space honoring Constance E. Staffileno's love of art and education. The Studio features cutting-edge technology like 3D printers and Adobe Creative Cloud software, as well as traditional art mediums like paint and canvas, to inspire artistic makers and creators.
