TI-68 Holster
thingiverse
A must-have accessory for every old-school electrical engineer/socially-incompetent EE student, this is undoubtedly a belt holster designed specifically for a TI-68 calculator. It's engineered to be used with the cover securely in place and closed. When configured this way, fitment is flawless: the 68's subtle taper ensures smooth placement, and the calculator stays locked inside. The tolerances were carefully selected with the rubber feet on the back of the 68's case in mind, so if you've misplaced yours due to years of unnecessary neglect, things might be slightly loose. Insertion with the case on but open is also possible, providing a very snug fit. If you plan on running with your calculator in its belt holster (a dubious choice), that would be the recommended approach. Print Settings Printer: FolgerTech Kossel 2020 (upgraded) Rafts: It doesn't matter. Supports: They are irrelevant. Resolution: .2mm. Infill: 30%. Notes: Print this thing at high temperatures. There isn't much mechanical strength in the loop, so ensure that what's there forms strong bonds. I printed mine out at 225 degrees using Genero PLA and am confident it could withstand a gentle impact. Your results may vary depending on the plastic used and your victim's softness level.
