Here's the base model I used for the Steampunk Thundertusk. As you can see, it's a low-poly design with very little detail, which is exactly what I was going for at this stage - just a concept model with some tweaks added to get the basic shape down. If you're not familiar with Blender or other 3D software, painting the model with textured print might be an effective way to give it a finish that makes up for the lack of detail in the fur. I'm not saying it's perfect, but it's definitely worth a try if you want to get a nice-looking model without spending too much time on details. Enjoy!
