The original concept calls for a massive scale thunderhawk gunship, measuring approximately 40k. To accommodate this enormity, printer constraints were addressed by sectioning oversized parts down to size within meshmixer's environment before printing vertically, ensuring all components fitted perfectly into place without compromising structural integrity. Post-printing reassembly entailed securing cut portions back together with abs slurry - an incredibly durable and long-lasting medium for holding large composite parts securely in place. It was a deliberate choice to spare detailed surfaces when 3D printing this colossal aircraft as those fine textures would struggle significantly during the layer-building process; nonetheless, adding the precise definition later through strategic placement of plasticard strips resolved the dilemma. In recognition of this work being heavily inspired by existing creations courtesy of Games Workshop limited, intellectual rights belong to these originators, thereby granting all proper acknowledgement and homage for original designs that spark such imaginative endeavors.
