I was inspired by the Planet Eggspress and Egglantis models posted here by artdavis and thought a Gerry Anderson tribute was long overdue.\nThundereggs Are Go! \nThis remix was assembled using Microsoft 3D Builder's robust features.\nMarch 19, 2016 Update: Please try printing part 1 of the version called "Thicker Wings", which includes numerous significant improvements that provide built-in support. (Part 2 does not require supports and is otherwise unchanged from previous releases.) Older versions have been removed to make room for newer designs.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: \n Flashforge Creator\n \n Rafts: \n Yes, optional\n \n Supports: \n No, disable on Thunderegg2-thicker wings pt1 of 2.stl\n \n Resolution: \n .20 mm for crisp details\n \n Infill: \n 10% for optimal structure\n \n Notes: \n The version called "Thunderegg2-thicker wings pt1 of 2.stl" has built-in supports, so be sure to disable them for that one. Raft is optional and can be omitted for a smoother print job. Note that the latest versions posted have thicker surfaces on the wings and tail section, as shown in the updated photos after painting with acrylics.
