This is a remix and mashup of a Thunderbolt Dock stand and Lenovo laptop stand. I have made 10 of these for my office and they are great at freeing up desk space by putting the devices vertical. My version allows the dock to face either direction and all ports still be accessible. The laptop portion is 2.2 cm or 7/8 in wide to accommodate our Thinkpads, so some other models may need a larger opening. No issues with devices tipping over or overheating.
