Thunder Tiger TS-4n EP conversion - Motor Mount & Pinion
thingiverse
Years ago I bought an used TS-4n RC on-road car from my friend who was upgrading to a PRO kit, leaving him with a stash of spare parts. He had too many spares and upgraded the car, giving me his old one along with a bunch of extras. The problem is that I got stuck with the original kit and no GP engine, but I do have two 540 brushed motors. This project is about installing a 540 electric motor on my TT TS-4n chassis without any major modifications for now. To fit it in, I removed the break disc presser, and if I continue down this path, I'd have to remove the whole braking system too. I also came up with a custom gear since I couldn't find any that matched the 3.175 bore and module of 1. Next, I'll work on designing a LI-PO battery plate, but first I need to check the balance so I can decide where to put it.
