Thunder-Fire Heavy Thermobaric Area Attack System (TFTAAS)

This is the Thunder-Fire Heavy Thermobaric Area Attack system (TFTAAS). Designed as a future area denial weapon, this heavy system is capable of precision strikes using powerful and destructive thermobaric or conventional munitions. Much larger than legacy systems such as the Russian TOS1a, the TFTAAS carries larger missiles capable of longer ranges and greater accuracy. Missiles can be launched individually with great accuracy, or targeted to cover a large area with precision coverage - denying large areas to enemy infantry and vehicles. The vehicle has a heavily armoured chassis which protects the small crew (2), and features advanced sensors that are capable of detecting threats, and identifying targets. The strange looking antenna on the front of the vehicle is a part of the integrated anti drone system - essential in the modern battlespace. The vehicle is fully data linked to other systems (including air assets), giving enhanced situational awareness, using glass screen technology. With the large chassis, the vehicle is capable of carrying large fuel tanks, and utilises efficient diesel engines - extending the range. This is a work in progress, so files may change - if you decide to download and build/modify, I would love to see what you have done..! I haven't scaled this yet, but I would anticipate it being similar in size to a Challenger II tank or equivalent.. (personally, I like to build in 1.72 scale).
