I constructed a hydraulic robotic arm that gives a huge thumbs up, but unfortunately, the syringe holder broke during setup, so I designed and 3D printed this replacement. I also added a spacer to the gripper because it didn't slide smoothly as I had hoped. If you need any additional parts for this tool, just send me a message and I'll be happy to provide them.
