ThumbPro Ripsqueak V7 Case and Mount
thingiverse
work in progress! I got this printed and am quite happy with this version! The mount and case are both big improvements. Give it a try! This is the second version of the ThumbPro case and mount for BQE Ripsqueak V2 that I remixed from BQE Rip Squeak Runcam Thumb Mount Update by BoilerBoy and ThumP: A Runcam Thumb Pro Mount (open source) by Timeless. CAMERA CASE IMPROVEMENTS: This revision further skeletalizes the Thumb Pro case to save weight, and switches to the wider, beefier mounting tabs (but still smaller than gopro tabs) used on the HX115LR Go2 mount ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5573966) for less wobble. These tabs have been modified to utilize M2 hardware with a captive inset nut for easier adjustment with only a 1.5mm driver. Also, this revision offsets the camera to position the lens (and most of the weight!) nearly on centerline for a truer camera perspective for freestyle tricks. I chose not to make it 100% true to the centerline because I didn't want it protruding quite that far to one side, instead splitting the difference. Lastly, the cutouts on the back have been enlarged to allow for easier installation and removal of the camera from the case, which for me is a key improvement (for changing those ND filters)! RIPSQUEAK MOUNT IMPROVEMENTS: The mount for the Ripsqueak has been modified with the same tabs mentioned above, and the rear wrap-around tabs have been beefed-up and given a more customized fit to keep the ThumbPro as snug as possible to the top plate.
