Thumbler's Tumbler Model B Shaft Bearing

This replacement shaft bearing is designed specifically for a Thumbler's Tumbler Model B. I highly doubt it will fit other models in its range, making this purchase ideal only for Model B owners. As an added bonus, the MODO8 file provided offers the opportunity for anyone to modify or tweak this bearing further if they see fit. After years of faithful service on one of my Thumblers, my drive shaft bearing had inexplicably worn down within a mere two-year timeframe, while another older unit from the 1970s still operates perfectly, free from any wear. This striking difference leads me to speculate that newer manufacturing techniques now prioritize cost-cutting measures over durability. During printing, I opted for ABS due to its known hardness, as it allows the printed bearing to maintain its form and function. In retrospect, I believe nylon might have made an excellent choice of print material; unfortunately, it was not available at the time. Once my print was complete, I took the extra step of lubricating the shaft with a tiny amount of Frog LUbe to minimize friction between moving parts.
