Thumb Pro remix for Ripsqueak mount
thingiverse
Lightweight exoskeleton for Runcam Thumb Pro designed to interface with mounting plate for BQE Ripsqueak V2 using M2 hardware. The most current version files are at the top of the list, and include "V72" in the filename. -------------------------------------- everything below this line is old information from earlier version files. Disclaimer: This is my first attempt at editing .stl files! I don't own nor have I operated a 3D printer! I may have made some very basic mistakes, so proceed with caution. This is a remix of a Runcam Thumb Pro case that I liked because it offered much protection to the camera, including the lens and filter. My main goal was to change the original GoPro mounting tabs to the tabs used on the "BQE Rip Squeak Runcam Thumb Mount Update" by Boilerboy. My secondary goals were: - lighten up the case a bit by removing unneeded material in some places. - make the camera easier to get in and out by slightly enlarging the small cut-outs on the back. - adding some lateral stiffness to the case since the Ripsqueak mounting tabs are much smaller than the original GoPro tabs. I will update once I get a print made and see if any of those goals were achieved! I've also included the original gopro mount version with these "improvements"
