Thule Roundtrip Transition Caster Feet

The Thule Roundtrip Transition is a very sturdy bike travel hard case.Unfortunately in it's stock configuration it has only one set of wheels in the back, meaning that one has to lift the front to move it. Since the case is not exactly light by itself this gets tiring very fast when walking through big railway stations or airports etc.Therefore I designed these replacement feet that have slots into which caster wheels can be inserted. There's a snap fit latch that prevents the wheels form coming out as well.These feet are a drop in replacement for the stock skid pads and are attached with the same screws as the originals. To insert / remove the wheels simply pull out the latch and then insert the base plate into the slot. These are the caster wheels I used. If you have different ones you can change the cutout size in the CAD model (see below).PrintingI'd highly recommend to print this in a temperature and impact resistant filament (e.g. ABS, ASA, PC CF, PA CF, etc.).The pre-sliced files are for PC CF since that is what I used. CAD ModelThe CAD model is on OnShape
