This design originated from the Roof Rack Canoe Gunwale Bracket created by jtrantow. That model functions with a square rack and I utilize an older rectangular Thule load bar system. After attempting without success to rework or redesign that item, I developed this one from the ground up. I HAVE NOT yet attempted to manufacture or install one so this is still purely experimental!
