This is a mounting bracket designed to enable me to suspend my Thule Cougar bike trailer from the wall securely. I positioned it about 5.5 inches away from the wall using two-by-six lumber, ensuring that the trailer arm hangs perfectly plumb. The Thule ball, which measures 28.5 millimeters in diameter, fits snugly into a recessed area of the mounting bracket.
