Thule Aerobar Rubber Strip
thingiverse
I recently acquired a pair of second-hand Thule Aerobars, but they were missing their top rubber insert. I considered replacing it, but Thule's price tag was out of my budget. Instead, I opted to fabricate my own replacement using TPU (Flexible Filament), which turned out to be a cost-effective solution that works flawlessly. To replicate the original part, you'll need approximately 1.2 meters of TPU filament, so it's essential to print multiple pieces at once. My printer has a diagonal printing capacity of around 300mm, but I discovered that five lengths of 255mm each fit my 969s perfectly. The provided STL file is only 20mm long, so feel free to scale the length in your slicer to accommodate your specific printer's capabilities or to print it in sections if necessary.
