The concept of my work emerged from a pressing need to create something that embodied the essence of THU. I envisioned a character with distinct personality and determination, capable of identifying with the unwavering spirit of a warrior. This led me to craft the THU Scarab Warrior, a loyal companion of a THU warrior, steadfast in its resolve to safeguard the most coveted and powerful tool of any warrior: the Wacom pen. The scarab's armor is its greatest strength, rendering it virtually indestructible; its jaws enable both attack and defense, while its wings grant it an extraordinary advantage over its adversaries. I aimed to infuse the character with a rugged, battle-hardened appearance by giving it stiffer, more angular forms, particularly in the head, without sacrificing its natural charm. The THU logo was an essential element that could not be overlooked. It has been seamlessly integrated into the supporting plate and is prominently featured on the character itself, fully visible when the wings are closed, solidifying its connection to the brand's origins.
