I needed to mount my Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle to my 4040 extrusions.I decided to not remove the throttle's bottom plate, so I had to use its screw holes.The brackets are wide enough to give support to the rubber foots under the plate.The extrusion screw holes are for M6 screws, the holes for the throttle plate are 5mm.
