Thrustmaster TH8A/RS shifter mod
thingiverse
I design this mod inspired by various concepts around the web but with a unique twist that incorporates spring plungers to enhance haptic feedback, stiffness, and durability of the mod. I develop different versions for M5, M6, M7, M8, M9, and M10 spring plungers. I recommend sticking to M5 and M7 settings for optimal results, but it also works well with other options. To assemble the mod, remove the shifter plate, taking care not to damage the small sequential cable attached to it. Next, insert the mod, applying lubricant around its external perimeter where it comes into contact with metal. Position the plastic locker as shown in the attached photo and reassemble. Before finalizing the shifter assembly, test the stiffness by screwing the various spring plungers. Please note that this project is a work in progress, so I appreciate any feedback and suggestions you may have. You can share your thoughts and photos/videos on the "Make" section.
