I make a simple modification to the Thrustmaster throttle, the original sled uses plastic on metal and is a total letdown, so I swap it out for proper LM8UU bearings that are 4x24mm long or 2x50mm long to eradicate stiction once and for all. Some clearance needs to be made on the base plate; you can either do this by screwing it back together and moving the joystick back and forth a couple hundred times, letting the screw head wear down a groove, or using a Dremel to carve out a small trench where the screw head travels. Check out the photo for an example. Otherwise, it's just a straightforward drag-and-drop replacement for the original sled.
