Replace the switch with a lever to activate switches on the Thrustmaster t16000m joystick. This modification works for the left side only, but you could easily mirror it to enable right-hand operation as well. To make this switch change, you'll need to remove the back cover of the joystick to access and replace the internal switch caps without any permanent modifications to the stick itself. The main housing may require some tweaks to ensure a better fit, but the design remains fully functional in its current state. I've also uploaded the source fusion3d files for your reference, so feel free to improve the design as you see fit.
