Thrust Bearing

Thrust Bearing

All my creations are shared @ Marginally Clever. This unique bearing can handle more axial load than typical Ball Thrust Bearings but isn't suitable for high radial load applications. Its inner diameter measures 0.25", outer diameter is 0.63", and height, 0.17". To assemble, get ten (10) 1/8" metal ball bearings. Position the outer ring on a flat surface, then insert the ball bearings into the groove. Using a pencil might be needed due to possible magnetization; be patient. Finally, snap the inner ring in place.
