Throw lever Discovery scope
thingiverse
This is my first public design, created specifically for the scope Discovery Optic ED 6-24x50 FFP. The zoom's high magnification makes it tricky to adjust, so a throw lever becomes an absolute necessity for this scope. To create my own throw lever, I drew inspiration from the Primary Arms 4-14x FFP Scope (1st gen) by PoniesWhee, which boasts a sleek and minimalist design that I really like. Inside the lever, I made some adjustments to ensure it fits snugly with the ring, and also modified the scale to keep everything tightly in place. There are two versions of this design: One is straightforward - simply attach it to your scope and tighten the screw (I've been using this version myself). The second version is slightly larger, allowing you to stick insulating tape under the ring if you're concerned about scratching. When assembling the lever, make sure to use an M4x10 screw. If you encounter any issues with fitting the screw, try using a hair dryer to heat it up - this will help it fit more easily. Given the high magnification of this scope, you'll definitely need some extra force to move the zoom ring.
