Through the Grapevine

Much sound, such Wow (turn the sound on) ! This visualization is based on the classic tune "I Heard It Through The Grapevine," brought to life by Creedence Clearwater Revival in their own special way. The original version was, of course, made famous by Marvin Gaye. To break it down simply, I took the sample and ran it through some Discrete Fourier Transforms to see what it was all about. Then, using Python, I linked up the resulting spectrogram to shapekeys matching frequencies in Blender. Who knows? Maybe I'll dive even deeper into this concept in the coming weeks and share some of my scripts with you.
