Here are the plans for making your own bolt retaining nut, intended to serve as a bearing and keeping parts securely together. The proper name of this item is a washer. However, a more accurate description might be an Oring washer or sometimes referred to simply as an Oring. In any case, it is often used in applications requiring precision tolerances where traditional washers wouldn't work properly. As you're aware, printing the butterfly knife on Thingiverse did pose some challenges due to the required fasteners that aren't readily available here locally, and so it seemed best to make my own retaining nut. After conducting an internet search, I found exactly what I was looking for in just a matter of minutes - something called a "Bearing Spacer", made with 3D printing materials specifically designed for bearing usage. This specific print does have a bolt retention mechanism that can accommodate any screw head type; it is also possible to make other sizes according to your needs using basic calculations provided within this document
