I required bending numerous through-hole electronic components' leads such as resistors and capacitors before soldering for a project that I am currently undertaking, so I created this tool to expedite that process. Through-hole component holes are frequently spaced in multiples of one-tenth of an inch (2.54mm). This tool has positions for 2 x 0.1", 3 x 0.1", and 4 x 0.1" distances. In the project that I am currently working on, I most often need to use the 3 x 0.1" position.
