Throttle Rest for Vulcan 750
thingiverse
This is a Throttle Rest for Vulcan 750 with stock grips. After trying many different types, I designed my own with the help of a mechanical engineer. It has teeth to grip the stock grips, and a slot to add a hose clamp. This thing WILL NOT SLIP on the grip. It has a protrusion on the underside that allows you to spread the throttle rest for easy installation. When installing the hose clamp, put the adjustment piece on the underside as close to the protrusion as possible to keep it out of the way. Point the adjustment screw towards the front of the bike. One major complaint I had with most throttle rests is it got in the way when riding at slow speeds or around town. I put an angle on the wrist support so that when the throttle rest is clamped onto the end of the grip, there is clearance for use around town as if it wasn't there. This means out on the highway, I slide my hand towards the edge of the grip and there's my throttle rest. If I have to slow down, I simply slide my hand towards the center of the bike and the throttle rest is out of the way.
