Throttle handle for Volvo Penta 2001 inboard diesel engine

After 27 long years of faithful service, the rubber handle on my Volvo Penta throttle lever finally wore out and fell apart completely. I quickly discovered that spare parts were nowhere to be found. In response, I took matters into my own hands, redesigning the entire system from scratch. While it may not have the same level of comfort as the original, I can confidently say it's a vast improvement over the cold, hard steel rod it replaced anyway.
