Three Sided Coin
thingiverse
Simple parametric file to create a thick coin, in an attempt to create a three sided die. Included in this thing are STLs for a roughly 25mm diameter coin (the size of a US quarter coin) and a 50mm diameter coin. Both are made with the Diameter to Edge ratio of 1.73 (roughly the square root of 3). I also included the option to make a hollow center space in the coin of your own dimensions. Mostly because I was curious if that would effect the rotation etc, but an easier way to get probably the same effects will be varying the infill. (STLs do not have hollow space in center.) The thingiverse customizer should work to change the edge measurement and Diameter to Edge ratio for you own testing. Inspired by [this Math StackExchange Question](https://math.stackexchange.com/questions/2029476/how-thick-should-a-cylindrical-coin-be-for-it-to-act-as-a-fair-three-sided-die) and [Youtube - Stand-up Maths: How thick is a three-sided coin?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qqPKKOU-yY) Disclaimer: I have not printed this, nor tested the three-sided-ness of it.
