Three reliefs of a funerary monument
myminifactory
These three reliefs depict a funerary monument: to the left stands a dancing satyr grasping a thyrsus - a staff wrapped in ivy, topped by a pine cone - with leopard skin draped across his left arm and a two-handled vase held firmly in his hand; at the monument's center, three winged erotes frolic and play; meanwhile, to the right, a running satyr dashes forward, thyrsus in one hand and panpipes in the other - an instrument traditionally associated with shepherds. The reliefs were unearthed in Verona.
