I didn't realize...\n... that someone had already printed my original version, and since the spiral block was reused as the only part, I decided to make it a V 2.0 now.\nAs for the changes made to my original version, the spiral turned out deeper, as well as the claws' teeth.\nTo prevent jamming when pushing the claws together, I lengthened them and enlarged the side holes of the turntable so they could run out freely.\nThis widened the gripping area significantly, and by flattening them, supports were no longer needed.\nThe print settings remain the same as before, but feel free to experiment with them if you'd like.\nUnfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the new version - that will be shared later.\nPost-Printing\nHow to Build It\nYou'll need M4 screws and possibly an M4 nut to build it.\nThe axis is a M4x60 screw with a conic head, which is smaller than lens heads or cylindrical ones.\nPoke it through the turntable first, then place the claws inside and try to push them as close to the center as possible.\nNext, attach the spiral block to the screw and twist until it engages with the claw teeth; secure it with a nut and give it a spin.\nIf the claws don't close evenly, swap two of them out - this should fix the issue.\nFinally, fasten the spiral block in place using three M4 screws on the axis.\nAs a last step, insert some screws into the turntable's holes to secure the claws' positions when holding a coil corpus.
