Three Heart Gears sans logo
thingiverse
I adore Emmett's heart gears. I have a deep affection for Emmett's gear bearing. On the other hand, advertising is not something I care to see. It is strictly prohibited inside my home. None of the televisions I own play commercials, and no computer I use displays any kind of advertisements. Adding your initials to a model amounts to advertising. Fortunately, removing the monogram from this model was far less complicated than removing it from the gear bearing. The SCAD source and STL files included are identical to those in the original model. I would like to point out that I had to lengthen the pins for the smaller gears. For some reason, they wouldn't mesh properly with the standard pins and center (printed from original STL files). Assembled successfully, but when attempting to turn the small gears, they would pop off. A closer inspection revealed they were about 3mm away from the central body. Therefore, I extended the pins by 3mm between the snap ridges. Included as well in case anyone else encountered this issue. To clarify: HeartGears0 features 18 and 9-tooth gears, HeartGears1 features 9 and 6-tooth gears, and HeartGears2 features 18 and 15-tooth gears. These specifications are the same as those listed in the SCAD file.
